The LTO45120 is a 2.4V 5mAh rechargeable lithium titanate (LTO) cell designed for applications requiring ultra long cycle life, wide operating temperature, and compact size. With a typical capacity of 5mAh and the ability to operate from -40°C to +100°C, it outperforms standard batteries in harsh environments. The cell supports up to 20C charge and discharge currents (100mA), making it suitable for high pulse applications. After 25,000 cycles, it retains over 80% of initial capacity.

Cycle Life
Under standard test conditions, the cell retains ≥80% of initial capacity after 25,000 cycles. This extraordinary cycle life makes it ideal for applications that require frequent charge and discharge over many years.
Temperature Performance
At -40°C, the cell can discharge at 0.2C or 1C to 1.8V with reduced capacity. At 100°C, capacity retention is ≥90% of initial value. High temperature storage at 70°C for 28 days results in retention capacity >50% and recovery capacity >80%.
Safety and Reliability
The cell passes overcharge testing (3C to 4.2V for 2 hours) with no fire, explosion, smoke, or leakage. Short circuit testing with <50mΩ resistance results in no fire or explosion. Impact testing with a 10kg weight dropped from 1m causes no fire or explosion (distortion allowed). Over discharge testing (discharge through 30Ω resistor for 28 hours) causes no fire, explosion, smoke, or leakage. Vibration and drop tests also pass.
