Product Detail Description:
The LIHC0820-3R8-40F is a next-generation, high-performance Lithium-Ion Hybrid Capacitor (LIHC) engineered to bridge the gap between conventional Electric Double-Layer Capacitors (EDLCs) and rechargeable lithium batteries.
By integrating a premium activated carbon capacitive cathode with a high-capacity lithium-ion intercalation graphite anode, this hybrid device seamlessly combines non-faradaic (capacitive) and faradaic (battery-type) energy storage mechanisms. The result is an advanced power solution that delivers an exceptional balance of high energy density, rapid power delivery, and an ultra-long, maintenance-free operational lifespan.

Features and Advantages
Superior Energy Density: Significantly surpasses standard EDLCs in energy storage capability, providing more power in a compact ø8 × 20 mm form factor.
High Power Performance: Engineered for demanding applications, supporting a continuous discharge current of 200mA and high-rate pulse discharges up to 4.0A (<1s).
Wide Operating Voltage: Operates safely and efficiently across a wide voltage window from 2.5V~3.8V (Rated Voltage: 3.8V).
Ultra-Long Cycle Life: Designed for ultimate reliability, achieving a typical lifespan of ≥250,000 cycles with minimal degradation.
Low Self-Discharge & Leakage: Features an exceptionally low leakage current (≤3.0μA after 72 hours), ensuring excellent energy retention during idle periods.
Robust Environmental Tolerance: Built to perform reliably in extreme conditions, featuring a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 70°C.

Measurement Conditions: 25 ± 3°C
Pre-Test Discharge: Discharge the cell with a constant current (I) down to 2.5V before commencing the test.
Charging Phase: Charge the hybrid capacitor at a 1C rate until it reaches the rated voltage (UR = 3.8V). Maintain a constant voltage (CV) charge at 3.8V for 30 minutes, or until the charging current cuts off.
Discharging Phase: Discharge the cell at a constant 1C rate down to 2.5V.
Rest Period: Allow the cell to rest in an open-circuit state for 30 seconds.
Evaluation: Repeat the charge-discharge process for a total of three cycles. The capacitance value obtained during the third discharge cycle is recorded as the official nominal capacitance of the product.
