      Description:

      The LIHC0825-3R8-50F lithium ion hybrid capacitor delivers 50F capacitance at 3.8V nominal (4.2V max), low DCR (≤400mΩ) and ACR (≤200mΩ), 250,000 cycle life, -40°C to 65°C operation, 200mA continuous current, 5.0A pulse current, and 400mA max charge. The compact 8x25mm cylinder weighing 2.5g is ideal for IoT, wireless modules, backup power, and energy buffering applications.

        General Specifications
        Rated capacitance at 25±3°C is 50F measured between 3.8V and 2.5V. Nominal voltage is 3.8V. Operating voltage range is 2.5V to 3.8V. Maximum charging voltage is 4.2V. DC internal resistance (DCR) is ≤400mΩ measured at 4.2V with 10ms pulse. AC internal resistance (ACR) is ≤200mΩ measured at 1kHz and 3.6V. Continuous discharge current is 200mA. Pulse discharge current (less than 1 second) reaches 5.0A. Maximum charge current is 400mA. Leakage current is ≤4.0μA after 72 hours at 25°C. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 65°C. Storage temperature range is 10°C to 40°C.

        Physical Dimensions
        Diameter ΦD is 8mm with +0.5mm maximum. Length L is 25±1.5mm. Lead length L1 is 26±1.0mm and L2 is 20±1.0mm. Lead diameter Φd is 0.6±0.1mm. Lead pitch P is 3.5±0.5mm. Weight is ≤2.5 grams. The cylindrical aluminum shell provides mechanical protection and sealing. The rubber plug prevents short circuits and electrolyte leakage.

        Cycle Life Characteristics
        Cycle life exceeds 250,000 cycles under standard test conditions (10C charge/discharge between 3.7V and 3.1V at room temperature). After 250,000 cycles, capacitance retention is at least 70 percent of initial value and internal resistance remains within 4 times the initial specified value.

        Temperature Performance
        At -20°C, capacitance retention is ≥70 percent of initial value and internal resistance ≤10 times initial specified value. At +65°C, capacitance change stays within ±10 percent of initial value and internal resistance remains within initial limits. High temperature and high humidity storage (60±3°C, 90±3% RH for 1000 hours) results in capacitance ≥70% and internal resistance ≤2 times initial value. High temperature float test at 65°C and 3.8V for 1000 hours maintains capacitance ≥70% and resistance ≤4 times initial value.
